Model Description
Yamaha’s successor to its popular XV535 Virago middleweight cruiser, as introduced in 1997, was bigger, longer and had (slightly) more extreme custom styling. That said it was still a doddle to ride, made a more viable pillion bike, was longer legged with a bigger fuel tank and extra comfort and had plenty of nice design touches of its own. That said, it was never as much of a success as its forebear perhaps, due in part, to a slightly dubious choice of name. But if you can stomach that, the Drag Star still makes a decent used buy.
