After being taken over by the huge Italian manufacturer Piaggio in 2001, Derbi launched a three-strong range of quads in 2004. These were the DFW50, the DXR200 and the larger still DXR250.
Unfortunately, however, they were not a great success and production was ended after just two years in 2006 although some machines remained unsold in dealers for a period after that.
