Model Description
Yamaha’s 2008 ‘re-imagining’ of the original Vmax is a worthy successor in every way – all-new mechanically, laden with classy details and styling touches and, best of all, with now 197bhp on tap and even more by way of torque, hugely entertaining acceleration characteristics. Best of all, though, it’s also now a far more polished and versatile performer, as well. Practicality may still be somewhat limited and it’s in no way cheap but the Vmax 1700 is one of the most awesome motorcycles of our time.
