Model Description
Launched in 2013, this all-new, 900cc triple is fun-packed, dynamic but affordable roadster that’s pretty much revitalized the whole of Yamaha’s line-up thanks to a whole family of spin-off machines since including the MT-09 Tracer and XSR900 not to mention its modular little brother, the MT-07 twin and its spin-off machines. That said, there’s nothing particularly radical about it. The three-cylinder produces 115bhp yet is torquey, too; the chassis is lightweight and a little basic, but boosted by half-decent cycle parts and it’s otherwise neutral, easy to ride and responsive. Good value, too.
