Model Description
Half-faired version of the naked FZ8-N followed Yamaha’s well-established practice of creating naked and faired versions of the same machine. Essentially a smaller capacity FZ1-S with a few details changes and a cheaper price it’s a decent enough four-cylinder all-rounder – but not a startling one. It’s also the poor relation to Yamaha’s more recent and far more modern and capable MT-09 triples. That said, it’s good looking, easy to get on with and a better than average performer so can still make a value-packed used buy.
