Model Description
If the 2006 FZ1-N was Yamaha’s second generation Fazer 1000 but in naked form, then the FZ1-S from the same year was essentially the same, 150bhp, four-cylinder roadster, but in slightly longer-legged and more comfortable and versatile half-faired guise. If the S lacks the dashing, aggressive good looks of its unfaired sibling, then it more than makes up for it with added comfort and versatility. It’s also impressively durable and reasonably well-equipped even if it lacks the latest electronic rider aids.
