Model Description
First FZS1000 Fazer in 2000 was a value, half-faired all-rounder based around a detuned R1 powertrain and proved such a success it was (belatedly) replaced by two, new interpretations, now based around the 2002 150bhp R1 motor and with a more high spec chassis, in 2006. The FZ1-N was the ‘naked’ version and is good-looking, potent and well-equipped although, when new, not particularly cheap. As a used buy, however, it’s a different proposition entirely. One of the best Japanese super nakeds ever built.
