Model Description
Although today Suzuki is best known for its four-stroke off-roaders and, during the ‘70s was most famous for its small capacity two-strokes such as the world-beating RM125 and almost as competitive RM250, it did have a brief foray with big-bore, open class two-stroke machines around the same time. The RM400 debuted first, in 1978, followed by the RM465 in 1981 and 9182 with the RM500 following in 1983. Production ceased in 1985 as the factory became disenchanted with the larger class
