Model Description
Suzuki’s big, air-cooled, single-cylinder, ‘thumper’ trail bike was originally introduced way back in 1990 in ‘RS’ form and, although long since dropped from its UK line-up, lives on today as a straightforward, robust, pokey ‘mud-plugger’. More workmanlike than glossy or luxurious and now slightly old-fashioned compared to more modern, liquid-cooled rivals such as Yamaha’s XT660, it’s still honest, decent value and effective – a bit like a two-wheeled Land Rover compared to a more contemporary SUV.
