Model Description
VL line is Suzuki’s retro or heritage styled family of V-twin cruisers with 1950s-inspired, ‘fat-tyred’ styling instead of the VS range’s more conventional chopper styling or the VZ ‘Marauder’ family’s ‘hot rod’ looks. As such they’re cheaper but just as dynamically capable alternatives to bikes like Harley’s Heritage Softail albeit without quite the same authenticity. Originally introduced in 1998 it’s useful, grunty, has all the right bits in all the right places but is otherwise unremarkable. it lives on to this day in ‘bagger’ form.
