Model Description
As with the bigger 1200 and later 1250 variants, the original ‘S’ was half-faired variant of the original Suzuki Bandit. And as with those bikes, while the basic mechanicals – a proven, four-cylinder engine in a straightforward, tubular steel chassis with few frills – remained unchanged, the bike’s versatility, thanks to the addition of the frame-mounted half-fairing, was vastly improved. As such the Bandit 600S made a great and affordable ‘first big bike’ and, although succeeded by an all-new 650cc version in 2007, as a used buy it still does.
