Model Description
This half-faired version of Suzuki’s original, 1200 Bandit, as introduced in 1996, may have lacked the ‘bad boy’ image of the naked variant and also necessarily been slightly more expensive but the weather protection afforded by the frame-mounted cowling greatly increased its practicality. Otherwise the smooth yet grunty delivery from the big, ex-GSX-R motor and decent chassis dynamics and comfort – not to mention its fabulous value – were all unchanged and as good as ever.
