Model Description
The X9 maxi-scooter was Piaggio’s response to the new breed of Japanese ‘super-scooters’ such as Yamaha’s original TMax 500. Like that bike and others, the X9 is powered by a big, 500cc engine (although only a single compared to the Yamaha’s twin) and is roomy, decent handling and well-equipped. It can’t quite match the Yamaha’s handling and sports ability but it’s a decent big commuter and was also later available as a 250.
