Model Description
The KTM 520 EXC, the then latest and largest of KTM’s four-stroke off-roaders is, like so many of the Austrian firms’ bigger bikes, confusingly named as, despite the ‘520’ designation it is actually 510cc. As is usual with KTM’s machines a few versions are offered: the EXC road-legal enduro, the SX motocrosser and the MXC competition enduro. All come with top quality WP suspension and disc brakes front and rear and are not for novices.
The EXC also comes in the higher specification ‘520 EXC Six Days’ form, as designed to celebrate the International Six Days Enduro, or ISDE, with different seat, exhaust and other upgrades.
