Model Description
The KTM 450 SX is also known as the KTM 450 SX-F, a liquid-cooled, fours-stroke, single cylinder off-roader that has become a mainstay of KTM’s range, has been updated repeatedly and comes in various motocross and enduro guises. The original SX motocrosser was produced from 2003-2005 along with a higher spec SXS version then re-named SX-F from 2006. The 450 EXC (2003-2017) is the road legal enduro version with heavier flywheel and revised gearing. The 450 XC (2007) is the lightweight, competition enduro (renamed XC-F from 2008-2017), with the XC-W (2007-2016) the same but with wider gear ratios. The EXC also comes in the higher specification ‘450 EXC Six Days’ form, as designed to celebrate the International Six Days Enduro, or ISDE, with different seat, exhaust and other upgrades.
