Model Description
Following Yamaha’s revolutionary YZ400F in 1998, KTM’s first new generation, production, four-stroke motocross machine was the MX2 category KTM 250 SX-F (with the ‘F’ standing for four stroke) in 2005. It was also produced in higher specification SXS-F form, as the enduro XC-F, the wide-ratio enduro XCF-W and the street-legal, wide ratio with lights EXC-F forms. This last version also comes in the higher specification ‘250 EXC Six Days’ form designed to celebrate the International Six Days Enduro, or ISDE, with different seat, exhaust and other upgrades. All have been significantly updated and improved since.
