Model Description
The KTM 990 Supermoto T, or SM-T was the ‘Touring’ (hence the ‘T’) version of the wild 990 Supermoto and if it sounded too mad to make sense in reality it worked well and proved very popular. With the 115bhp 999cc version of the Austrian V-twin and most of the Supermoto’s performance and sharp handling thanks to modified versions of that bike’s WP suspension and brakes, the SM-T, as it quickly became known, was great fun. Yet with a larger fairing, roomier ergonomics, more comprehensive instruments and luggage rack the SM-T was practical as well, even more so when it gained ABS from 2011.
