Model Description
Launched a year after the 950 Adventure, the KTM 990 Super Duke is a bigger, V-twin powered version of the 640 Duke or a street supermoto version of the 950 Supermoto. Key differences with the 950SM are an enlarged, more powerful 999cc, 120bhp engine, more angular bodywork and more street-orientated suspension, wheels and brakes. The result is an aggressive, stunt-styled beast of a motorcycle that can give many sports bikes a run for their money. An uprated ‘R’ version was also available from 2007.
