Model Description
The KTM 690 Supermoto was the successor to its 625, 640 and 660 super motos and arguably the best and most extreme of the road-going supermotos of the time. With a new, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 63bhp and a surprisingly smooth delivery plus some top quality chassis components such as WP suspension and Brembo brakes, the 690 SM (and even more so with the even higher spec 690 SM-R between 2008 and 2010, SMC available from 2008-11 and the SMC-R from 2012), is about as good as street supermotos get yet is also easier and more gentle to ride than many expect, too.
