Model Description
The KTM 525 SMR is a full-race supermoto (hence the SMR designation) built by the Austrian firm for the S1 racing category before being superceded by the larger capacity, more powerful and more refined 560 SMR which was produced between 2006 and 2007. Both are about as potent as production supermotos get, being based directly on the class-leading KTM 525 and 560 SX machines of the era but modified with supermoto slick tyres, smaller, fatter wheels and revised suspension, brakes, gearing and more.
