Model Description
Off-road specialists KTM were latecomers to the ATV/quad scene, despite supplying ATV specialist Polaris with its engines for a number of years. In 2007, however, that changed when it launched two ‘enduro’ quads of its own: the KTM 450 XC and KTM 525 XC. Both are based on proven KTM components, namely its punchy, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engines and a tubular steel chassis equipped with quality cycle parts. The 450 employs the proven 449c motor, the 525, the Austrian firm’s 510cc unit.
