Model Description
‘Naked’, ZZ-R1100-powered twin shock roadster was the basic, unfaired brother to the more familiar, Eddie Lawson-alike ZRX1200R and half-faired ZRX1200S. Like those it has a liquid-cooled, 122bhp four-cylinder engine in a conventional tubular, upright chassis although unlike those two it wasn’t officially imported into the UK. It was produced between 2004 and 2008 to rival the then popular of big, retro-styled roadsters such as Suzuki’s GSX1400, Yamaha’s XJR1300 and Honda’s CB1300 and was similarly stylish and versatile. Outperformed now, however by more modern nakeds such as Kawasaki’s own Z1000.
