Model Description
At the peak of the original retro roadster fashion in the late ‘90s/early Noughties, when Yamaha had its XJR1200, Suzuki the GSX1400 and Honda its CB1300, Kawasaki’s offering was the Eddie Lawson AMA superbike-inspired ZRX1100 which was produced between 1997 and 2001, had a detuned, liquid-cooled ZZ-R1100 motor at its heart, a decent chassis and race-inspired styling. Arguably less authentic than some, it went like stink, developed a devoted, hooligan following and is an appreciating classic today.
