Model Description
Built between 1999 and 2006 the W650 was a surprise but welcome and impressive retro roadster parallel twin that, for the most part, actually out-did the Triumph Bonneville at its own game. With fabulous style and detailing (right down to its authentic, retro-style metal switchgear and white, pin-striped seat), the W650 – which was inspired by one of the first Kawasakis from the early 1960s – looks great, has delicious detailing and is a doddle (and joy) to ride. All it lacks is quite the same oomph as the Triumph having only 49bhp.
