Model Description
Like the VN900 Classic, this is the successor to the original, long lived and loved VN800 and it has so far proved to be a worthy one in every respect. Despite some initial naming confusion, the Custom has emerged to be the 21-inch front wheel ‘chopper’ version of the two 900s while the Classic is the ‘50s style, fat-tyred heritage variant. Both have decent, glitch-free powertrains, sweet handling and manageability and, for a middleweight, impressive equipment and fit and finish levels. This is probably the best of the middleweight Japanese cruisers.
