Model Description
Successor to long-lived and rightly popular VN800 gained slightly more ccs to put out a respectable 53bhp enough for the Kawasaki to retain its standing as arguably the best of the Japanese middleweight V-twin cruisers. Available in both retro, fat-tyres, ‘50s-styled and more modern, 21-inch front wheel, ‘chopper’ guise (and confusingly, the Classic name has applied to both variants) it’s a decent performer with faultless handling and a great reliability track record.
