Like with its 1500cc bigger brother, the oddball, short-lived 800 Drifter is essentially a VN800 that takes its styling cues not from the likes of 1950s Harleys, as is the norm, but quirkily from Indians from the 1930s, right down to its ‘flared’ fenders front and rear, lashings of black in place of the usual chrome, a sprung single seat and fishtailed exhausts.
