Model Description
Like its fully-faired brother, the ER-6f, the ER-6n (the ‘n’ stands for naked) proved an instant hit when originally launched in 2005 and has gone on to be one of the mainstays of Kawasaki’s range ever since through updates in 2009 and 2012. However, although the faired version, with which it shares most of its mechanicals, is undeniably more versatile and long-legged, it’s the naked ‘n’ which is the most fun: the combination of eager, 71bhp parallel twin motor in a funky but flexible lightweight and foolproof chassis proving irresistibly entertaining. They’re durable, too, helping make them a great used buy as a first big bike.
