Model Description
Unremarkable but dependable parallel twin roadster was a useful commuter rival to the likes of Suzuki’s GS500E and Honda’s CB500 between 1996 and 2007. GPz500-derived liquid-cooled engine pushed out a reasonable 48bhp; while the chassis is basic rather than brilliant. But for cheap, fairly dependable transport it does the job, especially around town as the lack of any weather protection is a drag on longer trips. Honda’s purpose-designed CB twin is better in most respects (and more expensive, too), however.
