Model Description
Another slightly over-soft Honda cruiser, the 750 Shadow was built between 2004 and 2007 around a finned but liquid-cooled 745cc V-twin and aimed mostly at the American market. In the UK, thanks to its fairly insipid 45bhp power output (yes, less than even it’s 600cc little brother from the ‘90s) it qualifies for the A2 licence all of which adds up to it being an appealing, unthreatening, well-built, low-seated and reasonably good-looking cruiser for inexperienced or smaller riders. It’s also fairly cheap, which, allied to Honda reliability and ease of use, adds to its appeal and a more easy-going and affordable alternative to, say, Harley’s sportsters.
