Model Description
The 600 Shadow, powered by an unthreatening but dependable, liquid-cooled V-twin motor that pushed out a slightly underwhelming 54bhp was Honda’s novice-friendly middleweight cruiser between 1992 and 2002. Sweetly styled, well-built and typically-Honda durable its ultra low seat made it popular with new riders (especially ladies) and its performance was sufficient if unthreatening. Pleasing rather than exciting and, as it’s so solid and few rack up significant mileages, it makes a cheap, dependable used buy, but there’s little of the ‘rebel rouser’ image bikes like this are supposed to engender.
