Model Description
After the success and popularity of the CB600F Hornet introduced in 1998 there were high hopes for its bigger, Fireblade-based brother, the CB900F Hornet introduced in 2001. Unfortunately, despite its tempting recipe, it was something of a disappointment. It’s detuned 110bhp engine wasn’t much punchier than the 600, the replica styling uninspired, build quality wasn’t that great and the handling was let down by overly-soft front forks (which were non-adjustable). Durability wasn’t that great, either. It struggled on in Honda’s range until 2009 when it was at last replaced by the CB1000R
