Model Description
An ambitious Italian rival to Honda’s then superlative VFR800 sports-tourer almost succeeded and remains a classy, unconventional used buy today. Its futuristic styling sat uncomfortably with the Futura’s traditional V-twin delivery and put off some buyers, hence its short lifespan. Look beyond that, though, and the RST1000 Futura is decently fast thanks to its detuned, 113bhp engine derived from the RSV Mille superbike; has a classy, twin spar aluminium farme and quality cycle parts and is comfortable and well-equipped.
