Model Description
The last of the two-stroke GP replicas, following bikes like Suzuki’s RGV250, Kawasaki’s KR-1S and Yamaha’s TZR250, was also, arguably, the best of the breed. The RS250 housed Suzuki’s 55bhp V-twin in its own, aluminium, twin spar chassis complete with inverted forks and Brembo brakes and covered in sexy bodywork that made you the spitting image of 250GP stars Loris Reggiani and Max Biaggi. Better still, with a screaming two-stroke powerband and sharp, lightweight handling it was an addictive thrill to ride. Killed off by emissions regulations it lives on as a collectable classic.
