Model Description
After the successful launch of the retro-styled V7 Classic in 2008, Moto Guzzi went on to produce a whole family of V7 variants all based around an updated version of Guzzi’s ‘small block’, 744cc transverse V-twin in a straightforward twin shock, tubular steel chassis with attractive styling inspired by classic Guzzi V7s from the 1960s and early ‘70s. The first variant was this Moto Guzzi V7 Café as inspired by Guzzi’s legendary V7 Sport of 1971, the sports version of the original V7, which later evolved into the Le Mans. Like the ’71 bike, the Café has lower, sports bars, retro-style sports seat and glorious lime green livery, although, as the 50bhp engine and chassis is unchanged it’s actually no sportier to ride.
